Superbly sheltered but conveniently located near the entrance of the beautiful River Dart - Darthaven marina consists of 270 berths. Using modern, easily accessible finger pontoons the berths have full mains electricity supply and water.

In addition to first class shoreside amenities there is also a launderette. Secure car parking is provided for all marina berth holders.

A Weather Fax service is available from the berthing office.

Shopping
Kingswear Village Shop is across the Railway Bridge, offering a good supply of basic items & newspapers. Kingswear Post Office is by the Lower Ferry.
Dartmouth has a wide range of shops and a regular bus service to Totnes.

Health and Safety General Practice
Do not run on the pontoons and take extra care. Use the handrails on the access gangway. Do not overload your trolley, if you need assistance call at the Marina Office.
Barbecues are not allowed aboard vessels in the Marina, or upon the pontoons.

Electricity Supply
Do not leave live electricity leads on the pontoon. Ensure leads are disconnected from the electricity supply first.

Heads/Toilet
Do not use flushing heads in The Marina.

Parking
Wheel Clamps will be used on illegally parked vehicles.

Lavatories & Showers
Please leave these in a clean state. They are available continuously, except during daily cleaning times. Individual cubicles are also available. We would appreciate your co-operation during these short periods. Separate facilities are available for the disabled.

Pets
Pets are welcome at Darthaven but must be kept on a lead whilst on the pontoons. Pets should be exercised off the marina site and car parks, and should not be allowed
to foul the pontoons, access or car parks, nor cause any aggravation to Marina users. Do not allow dogs to chase the wild fowl on the Creek. There are plenty of walks
around the Creek and in the woods above the Marina.

Public Telephones
Public Payphone is situated outside of the showers - coin operated only

Rubbish
Skip available for domestic waste only. Waste oil tank, for diesel fuel, is situated under the black railway bridge.

Safety
It is very important that all Marina users are aware of the location of emergency ladders, lifebelts and fire extinguishers.

Young children should always be in the company of an adult, and should wear suitable lifejackets when on the pontoons or on board.

Children are not to be carried in Marina trolleys.

All cars must be parked in the main car park.

Cars must not be parked on the Quay.

Emergency access may be required at any time, and the Marina reserve the right to remove any parked vehicles blocking access for emergency vehicles, deliveries, garbage
collection and hoist access.

Spare Keys
If your boat is left unattended at Darthaven then please leave a spare set of keys with the Berthing Office.

Terms & Conditions Of Marina Use
These are based on guidelines issued by the Yacht Harbour Association and the British Marine Industries. All Marina users are required to hold third party liability insurance of £2,000,000. Marina users should satisfy themselves that they have taken all reasonable precautions against theft.

Trolleys
These are provided for the convenience of all berth holders. Please do not leave them on the pontoons. They should be returned to the trolley park after use.

Water & Electricity
240 volt A/C electricity is available at all berths, together with water. A battery charging service is available from the Marina Office.
